Choose to Prosper and Not Suffer

Choose to Prosper and Not Suffer

For much of my life, I believed that suffering was normal. I thought that constant struggle was just the way life was meant to be lived. I grew up surrounded by the idea that poverty was permanent and that hardship was a sign of humility. It took me years to understand that this belief was never what God intended for us.

God did not create us to be trapped in cycles of lack or hopelessness. He created us to prosper, to flourish in mind, body, and spirit. Prosperity is not simply about money, it is about wholeness, peace, and joy.

When I finally realized that poverty was a mindset, my perspective began to shift. I saw that choosing prosperity is not arrogance, it is obedience to the truth of who we were created to be. Prosperity begins in the heart. It starts with believing you are worthy of joy, that your future holds possibilities, and that God placed greatness within you.

To choose prosperity means refusing to let suffering be the standard of your life. It is deciding that your past will not dictate your tomorrow. It is daring to embrace hope when despair tries to settle in. Choosing prosperity is not just about you; it allows you to bless others, encourage them, and remind them that they too were created to thrive.

Have you been living as though suffering is the only option? What is one area of your life where you are ready to shift your mindset and embrace prosperity the way God intended?
